Exhibition: September 12 – November 7, 2025

Bruce Beasley and Albert Dicruttalo met nearly 30 years ago. A young Albert Dicruttalo, fascinated by Beasley’s work, called the already internationally acclaimed Oakland-based master from the pay phone of his East Coast art school to offer his services as an apprentice. He came and never left.

Over the next 3 decades a master-apprentice relationship between Dicruttalo and Beasley evolved into an interchange of colleagues, professionals, and dear friends. Dicruttalo continues as Studio Manager of the Bruce Beasley Foundation, but is now an acknowledged, well exhibited sculptor in his own right.

This exhibition celebrates the expanding vision of these two sculptors, each with their own vision and a shared commitment to the expressive potential of abstract shape.
